We are very excited to introduce a brand new event for 2022, with three unique trail running routes through the heart of the spectacular Forest of Dean.
After a 7 year hiatus, we are finally bringing Maverick Race back to the Forest of Dean and we are making sure it's one hell of a comeback. Starting from Speech House - a 17th Century Hunting Lodge and Verderers Court - all three routes head immediately into the ancient woodlands of the Forest of Dean.
All three routes are predominantly on wide forest tracks making the conditions underfoot suitable for; runners giving trail running a go for the first time, those looking for a fast race and everyone in between.
The routes we have on offer are as follows, we certainly hope you're up for a brand new adventure and we see you on the start line come September.
Short Route - 7km
Middle Route - 11km
Long Route - 22km
