Maverick x TENZING Trails

Adam provided 5* customer service throughout the camp. From the booking process in the UK, pre-camp online briefings, email communications and when on the camp, he was superb. He settled any pre-camp nerves with his timely and detailed communications and was on hand to support any bespoke requests of the guests. (He’s also a great runner, and ambassador for all the Maverick events).

He’s super professional and really friendly, instantly making solo newcomers feel part of the Maverick family. I look forward to booking my next trip, and I know I’ll be in capable hands with Adam.

I’m fairly new to trail running and attended the camp as I needed to get some alpine experience before my first mountain race in September 2023. Well..what can I say? Every bit of the Maverick camp was perfect. From the moment we arrived, I felt comfortable - it was so well organised and all the staff put me at ease. The food and accommodation were fantastic and the mountain guides were so informative and supportive.  Honestly a life-changing experience..until you do it you don’t realise what’s out there. My advice..jump..you won’t regret it.

I wish I could do another camp! Was just the best.

First time doing a multi-day run experience and it won't be the last! I had such a great time, with an amazing group of like-minded people. As a casual runner, I've learned a lot from my fellow runners and got some great tips from the coaches, all while running in stunning scenery! That dip in lake to wrap up the long run was epic :D Can't wait to see what future camps are available next!

Wow! Blown away by my first Maverick Camp. Chamonix was stunning and just a perfect setting to get some epic runs and training in. The main thing to highlight though is how well run the weekends are - everything was seamless from start to finish and it is so nice to be able to just show up and have a wonderful set of activities and adventures planned out (not to mention the refuelling and recovery too!). Loved it so much I signed up for another as soon as I came back! Maverick Events are epic, Maverick Camps are ultimately epic!

My second Camp with Maverick and just as buzzing as I was after the first one. Another stunning location in Slovenia, another super well-planned weekend. Another set of epic people to hang out with while exploring and recovering. If you love Maverick runs you are going to LOVE their camps. Runner’s paradise!

After booking onto Maverick Camp Endeavour, Chamonix, I was nervous but excited to get going. I used up the 2 free race entries that came with booking the trip to attend some Maverick races in the UK. These were well organised and had a relaxed community feel to them. It was great to meet Adam and some of the others before setting off to Chamonix and I felt it was good value that these races were included! The service pre-trip was amazing. We had great communication via email with an electronic trip guide, a Zoom call, and a WhatsApp group was set up. I'd also voiced some concerns about an injury I'd picked up and Adam took the time to give me a phone call which was reassuring and a very personal touch. During the trip we were well looked after with fantastic guides and being one of the slower runners, I still felt safe and included. I was very impressed with the value considering the food/freebies we had included as well as the buses, trains & lift passes & an awesome hotel. I'd definitely recommend one of these trips and Maverick as a brand in general. They are amazing!

One of my favourite trips of 2022. From impressive snowy peaks to taking a dip in the freshwater streams, to eating doughnuts in mountain huts - the trip definitely leaves a lasting impression! Very well-organised by the team, who seemed more like friends by the end. Highly recommend.

Running with Maverick in Chamonix was one of the highlights of 2022 for me. The coaches and organisers were so friendly and well-prepared. The routes were incredible. It was so nice to arrive at the hotel (which was impressive) and have a whole weekend of running with beautiful routes planned out. I didn’t have to think about anything other than enjoying myself and felt really safe and supported at all times. I will definitely be back for more and it was worth every penny!

The Chamonix Camp was absolutely amazing. The group of people were awesome - we remain in contact and meet up at events and motivate each other in our different endeavours. The Maverick team are incredible and took care of every detail making the weekend hassle-free. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend that will stay in my memory forever.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Chamonix 2023 Maverick Camp! An incredibly well-organised, inclusive adventure with beautiful trails, knowledgeable guides, insane photographs & great company. Although people were of different abilities, every runner was catered for and never felt under pressure. This trip was a fantastic introduction to trail running and I'm already itching to attend another camp.

The community that Maverick Race have created is like nothing I have ever experienced before.  THANK YOU!
