If you can no longer attend the event, you can move your entry to another Maverick Race , hold your entry fee as credit or transfer your entry to a friend. The last day to do this is 1 week prior to the event day. Please note that the Brighton Trail Marathon & the 100km X-Trail events (Peak District and Jurassic Coast) have a different transfer deadline. Please reference the event webpage for this deadline.

*I need support on the event day, can you help with this?*

We are here to support you and our proud to be working with the Richard Whitehead Foundation. The Richard Whitehead Foundation provide trained Support Runners who are hand picked to match your needs. Your Support Runner will receive a free entry into your chosen event. Please get in touch with us on info@maverick-race.com if you would like a Support Runner or if you already have a Support Runner but require an entry for them.

*I am a wheelchair user which races are wheelchair friendly?*

Due to our routes using footpaths & bridleways, which are a mixture of grass / mud / gravel and can include gates / stiles, with varying widths and gradient, the majority of our routes are not wheelchair friendly. However, many of our start/finish locations are suitable for spectators who use all terrain wheelchairs. Please get in touch with us on info@maverick-race.com to find out more about a specific event venue.

Our X-Series events have specific cut off times, please reference the event webpage for a breakdown of these times.

Our Original Series events do not have a strict cut off time as such, but we do appreciate if all runners (regardless of distance) are finished by 2pm. This equates to a finish time of 4hrs.

Our Dark Series events do not have a strict cut off time as such, but we do appreciate if all runners (regardless of distance) are finished by 7:30pm. This equates to a finish time of 2hrs30.

This helps to ease the pressure on our marshals, so that they are not stood outside for long periods of time.

We strongly recommend not wearing headphones during the events. It is advised that runners should be aware of their surroundings at all times.

The option to add a dog to your booking will show on the second page of the entry form, after you have selected your distance. We set a maximum number per event to help maintain a safe and fun experience for all runners. If the option to add a dog does not show then this means that dog entries have sold out for this event, and you will not be able to run with your dog on the event day.

All our events have live timing, which means the results are available to view instantly after you have finished.

You can view live results here.

You can view historic results here.

We aim to have our event photos live within 48hrs of the event day. All event photos can be found here: Maverick Race Event Photos

All photos can be downloaded for free.

Please note, we do not have bib or facial recognition software within our photo galleries.

We cannot guarantee that you will get a photo at every event you attend, but we can guarantee that when you do get one it will be a great one!

Some of the distances within our races are UTMB index races. You cannot qualify for UTMB with index races. Index races give you points that contribute to your personal UTMB index.

Qualification for UTMB comes by acquiring ‘Running Stones’, which you can only get by completing specific UTMB World Series Events. These are usually called ‘X Race by UTMB’ – there are two in the UK; Ultra Trail Snowdonia by UTMB and Arc of Attrition.

If you have a UTMB index then you can enter the UTMB World Series Events and therefore have a chance of earning Running Stones.1 Running Stone = 1 Entry into the lottery to participate in any of the UTMB World Series Events. You choose which ballot you enter, if you have the qualifying criteria.

The more Running Stones you have, the more entries into the ballot you get. You receive a different number of stones depending on the distance and race. Our 100km and 50km events provide runners with UTMB Index points and racing experience in preparation for entering a UTMB World Series Event to try and secure Running Stones.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your UTMB index points to show on your profile.

If you have taken part in one of our Index races, and it has been longer than 2 weeks, but your points are not showing on your UTMB profile, please contact the UTMB team directly here and they will resolve this for you.
