The Maverick Run Project is an official running club, a social running platform but most importantly, a running community.
When you join the Maverick Run Project (MRP), you will be welcomed into our inclusive community of runners and will be able to join any MRP social run hubs, links to which can be found below.
We have numerous MRP running hubs around the UK, with multiple monthly social runs led by our Maverick Run Leaders. As a member of the MRP, you can attend as many social runs as you like at any of our running hubs for free, so you can explore as many new trails as possible. You also get access to a few discounts from our partners as well as our own races.
At social runs, we take great pride in creating an inclusive environment, so there will always be routes that cater to a range of abilities, paces and experience levels to suit our runners' needs.
Instructions on how to join the MRP and a run hub can be found below.
The Terms and Conditions set out below are in addition to your Maverick Race Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
By signing up to the Maverick Run Project (MRP) you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
As an MRP member, you accept that you attend runs and participate at your own risk and that you are physically able to do so.
You accept that there is a risk of injury associated with participating in any of our social runs and will assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses and damages that you might incur while attending, exercising or participating at an MRP social run. You hereby waive all claims against Maverick Race and the Maverick Run Project, its Run Leaders, Managers, partners or members, for any and all injuries, claims or damages that you might incur.
We use the Heylo app to manage MRP membership and the social run calendar. In order to join the MRP you need to sign up to the app and join at least one MRP group where you will be able to view and enter social runs. By joining an MRP group you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Information will be asked of you when signing up to the app, including your name, email, phone number and emergency contact information. Our Run Leaders, the people organizing and hosting a social run, use this information to see how many people are attending their run and to make sure we have the participant's correct contact information. The information given to us via the Heylo app will not be used for any other purpose and will reside on the Heylo platform unless you have given us permission to transfer your data for marketing purposes. You can read the privacy policy for Heylo here: Heylo Privacy Policy
