Back for its second year, you will be running through unspoilt and a largely unventured landscape. The area has a tranquil calming atmosphere and a distinctive character including; wildlife-rich estuaries, ancient heaths, windswept shingle beaches and historic villages. The Suffolk AONB is one of the most important wildlife areas in Britain, encompassing three National Nature Reserves and many Sites of Special Scientific Interest including the RSPB’s Minsmere Reserve. The mud-flats and creeks of the AONB’s estuaries contain wetland sites that are wildlife refuges for nightjar, woodlark, and rare heath butterflies. So you will be accompanied on your trail run by an abundance of flora and fauna.
You can be sure that the four routes will challenge you, due to the inclusion of rolling hills and undulating terrain. But rest assured all four routes are perfect for even the least experienced trail runner to become a Maverick for the very first time.
Our event village and race starts is just 2 hours from the heart of London, so perfect for a short day-trip for a morning of exploring new trails.
Online entry closes on Wednesday 19th October 2022 at 12:00 (Lunctime). On the day entries will be available if the event is not sold out.
All entries are subject to a small booking fee.

Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
