Maverick x TENZING Trails Camp Chamonix OCC 2024
July 5 - 8 2024 | Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
Remote landscapes, jagged routes and mountains of elevation. Welcome to the Maverick x TENZING Trails. These small-scale, intimate camps are attended by those who are in pursuit of adventure. Taking place in stunning corners of our globe, each camp location has been carefully curated to showcase the best trail running each location has to offer. The sense of achievement never comes from comfort, power the way to your summit and crush it with our Maverick x TENZING Trails.
For this 2024 Camp, we return to the famous OCC (Orsières - Champex-Lac - Chamonix) route.
Meeting up in Chamonix we will transfer to the start of our adventure in Orsières. The adventure begins as we make our way through Swiss valleys and unique landscapes, a dream location. On this route, you will truly be in the company of the greats as you steadily make your way to Champex-Lac and on to our refuge for the night in Trient.
We will cross the Swiss-French border and follow the majestic Col de Balme where you get panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc Massif. Our final descent home to Chamonix passes La Flégère and through the blissful final steps of winding zig zag trails and alpine flowers.
Together we can be sure to have a grand adventure and an experience hard to find outside of competitive racing. This one is for the Mavericks.

Between 08:00: Transfer from Chamonix to Orsières.
Adventure begins! Saturday's run could be between 5-6 hours and we’ll cover around 24km. We can take our time if we need it as it's summer, afterall, we’ll have views that can’t always be rushed. We recommend you bring some Euros as we may stop at a refuge or a lovely cafe and they like cash.
16:00: Stretch, strength and mobility session, settle in at our refuge and a stroll around Trient.
19:00: We have a pre-planned dinner at our refuge and plenty of time to explore Trient and all it has to offer. Bring along a pack of cards, write a diary or enjoy a favourite book and relax in this natural environment.

We return to our hotel in Chamonix for the night and get a deserved shower and rest.
Following this we have a pre planned dinner and plenty of time to explore Chamonix and all it has to offer from bars, shops, sights and Mont-Blanc sunsets. Rumour has it the ice cream is fantastic!
DAY 4 - MONDAY
