The Atlas Mountains are an amazing place to run, so we are thrilled to return in 2023 for our 6-day camp in Morocco.
Steeped in history and culture, Morocco offers a whole new experience, and we can’t wait to show you why we’re so excited to explore this with you.
The journey that we are taking, ventures into the mountains where North Africa’s highest peak, Jebel Toubkal, can be found. At 4167m into the heavens, the views are spectacular, which is more than a reward for your efforts in scaling it. This quasi-mythical mountain is the most eulogised peak in the country and it well-deserves the praise heaped upon it. In summer it is an adventure that most reasonably fit people can tackle in two or three days from Imlil.
The mountainous terrain offers a different experience to the more popular alpine destinations, as you wind your way through ancient Berber settlements, whilst soaking up the breathtaking views to Mt Toubkal. This will be an experience you will not forget.
You don't have to be a well-seasoned ultra runner for this camp. Just be comfortable running on trails and being out on your feet for the day. We will choose appropriate routes, and always give you options.
Limited to 20 places. Pay in 6 monthly instalments. Secure your place today for just £165.84.

Arrive at Marrakech then transfer to Imlil - optional shake-out run.
Trek to Tamsoult hut - this is a trek up a flat trail section and descending paths for running.
Trek to Toubkal base camp - This day has a steep amount of hiking to altitude and then some fast and technical trail running to finish.
Ascent of Mt Toubkal then trek and/or run down to Imlil after lunch and a short rest.
Walk then transfer to Marrakech - I noticed it stated a 'walk' on an email from Ben following correspondence with our travel partner. This year's camp went for a trail run this day or an optional walk for some. It was really positive to finish the camp with a trail run.
Departure transfer and time in Marrakech - multiple transfers from the last Riad were possible and it was 15-30 minutes away.
