Meet the Team

I discovered my love for mass‑participation events while studying for my BA (Hons) in Business and Events Management, including an internship at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019. At university I kept busy as President of the dance team and as the British University Colleges Sports Coordinator for the UWE Students’ Union.

After starting out in weddings and corporate events, I moved into the charity sector in 2021 as an Area Event Manager for Cancer Research UK. Over 3.5 years I delivered large‑scale mass participation events including Race for Life, Pretty Muddy and Shine Night Walk, with my portfolio welcoming more than 30,000 participants across the UK. I also represented CRUK at the London Marathon and delivered events at iconic venues like Alexandra Palace and St Paul’s Cathedral.

I love Maverick Race because it truly welcomes every kind of runner, the atmosphere is always full of energy and celebration. On event day you’ll usually find me at event control, cheering people across the start and finish lines, or buzzing around making sure our team and volunteers are having just as much fun as the participants.

Outside of events, I’m happiest dancing, catching up with friends, or heading to a gig or theatre show.
