Meet the Team

My professional background is in marketing, having started in the fashion industry before moving into tech, which gave me a strong foundation in communication and people-focused problem solving. 

At Maverick you will find me on the end of the emails where I support runners and suppliers, and help organise behind the scenes to deliver awesome events. I genuinely love working in the events industry, particularly within the running world. I’m a slow but enthusiastic runner myself and one of my best experiences ever was running the London Marathon, the atmosphere was incredible and more than made up for being overtaken by a guy with a fridge on his back, which was a low point.

I was really drawn to working for Maverick after attending the events and seeing the strong sense of community that surrounds them, from first time runners to seasoned athletes, everyone is welcome and included. My favourite in the calendar is Dark Castle in November. Historic Corfe Castle looks even more beautiful when lit up with neon pink lighting.  When I’m working at the events I’ll usually be around the registration tent in the morning and then near the finish watching everyone smiling as they cross the line.
