Socially Distanced Racing

Posted on Mon, Aug 17, 2020

On Saturday 15th August Maverick Race returned to racing after a 5-month drought due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Our little team have been working hard on getting the procedure rights so that our return made all runners, staff, supporters and members of the public feel as safe as possible.

When you’ve been so fully involved with the COVID processes and procedures required to put on an event it is so incredibly helpful to have some fresh eyes and opinions on how they all turned out. We are therefore so grateful that James - who came to run with us on Saturday - has written the blog that is linked below about his experiences.

This is all new to us as well, so hearing our runners' thoughts helps us to learn from this first event so we know how to continue improving and making Maverick Races a great experience whilst being safe for all.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event which is on September 26th up in the Peak District.

We will also be returning to the Jurassic Coast for a brand new X-Series event on October 17th!

Lots of Maverick Kudos for you all joining us.

See you soon gang.
