Ready to get loopy? Take on 5km laps - 1, 2 or 3 laps around the beautiful Alice Holt forest.
This ancient woodland, which used to supply wood during the 18th Century to build Royal Navy ships, forms part of the South Downs National Park and straddles the Hampshire/Surrey county boundary. There are 3 distances to choose from (5km / 10km / 15km), with something for everyone from seasoned trail runner to complete novice. This is the ideal event for taking on your first Dark race or running with a buggy.
Wide open tracks and tree lined avenues, with owls swooping above, you wind your way through the forest following the light of your head torch. You'll be greeted back at the finish line with the smell of freshly cooked pizza and crackling fire pits to warm your tired legs.
Situated 4 miles from Farnham and 2 miles from Bentley train station, with direct trains from London, it's an evening not to miss!
Please note this is NOT a dog friendly event, we are unable to have dogs taking part in this event.

OUTPOSTS
There will be 1 outpost which you will pass on each lap. The outpost is designed to act as a top up for what you are already carrying. There will be a range of sweet & savoury snacks (fruit, cake, crisps) as well as Precision Hydration fuel & electrolyte.
There will not be pre-filled water cups available at the outpost. Please have your re-useable cup or bottle ready when you arrive and make use of our self serve water barrels.
PLASTIC FREE
In our quest to make this season plastic-free, we ask that you run with a reusable cup or bottle. Hydrapak Speed Cups are available to purchase at each event and online.
HEADPHONES
Headphones are not permitted at this event.
TRANSFERS
If for any reason you wish to transfer out from an event we are happy to do this, but once only. You may transfer to any event listed on our website or even change to a higher value event and pay the difference. We cannot action any transfers or refunds for an event that has sold out.
The last day to transfer out of an event is the Monday before event day (5 days before the event), please email us on info@maverick-race.com with the name of the event you would like to move to. We are not able to move you out of an event if you contact us after this day
PLASTIC FREE
In an effort to keep our trails clean and preserve the nature around us, we’re aiming to keep our outposts cup-free. Please bring a cup or bottle to refill. Speed Cups are available to purchase at each event and online.
TRANSFERS
