The Maverick Camp Endeavour Slovenia will take our runners on an adventure through the beautiful mountain trails that encircle Lake Bohinj. The crystal clear glacial waters of Lake Bohinj is Slovenia's largest permanent lake and is a truly magical location.
Lake Bohinj is just an hour from Slovenia's capital city - Ljubljana - making it a destination that is simple to get to without long complicated transfers. Our runners will stay in Ribčev Laz - a town on the South of the Lake - which is both a peaceful paradise and a hub for outdoor pursuits.
Our runners on the Camp Endeavour Slovenia will spend their days on the mountain trails many of which cross into the Triglav National Park. Our experienced mountain leaders know the best routes to take, making sure our runners wind through the paths around the lake and take in the beautiful colours of the Soča river.
Our camp is for anyone who wants to explore these incredible trails and have a weekend full of mountain fun – it's not for elite runners but for anyone who wants to learn more about themselves and meet other runners who also love the outdoors as much as you.
This camp is limited to 11 places. We would love to have you along for the adventure.

HOW IT WORKS

Establish your level of experience
We will contact you directly to establish your level and what you want from the trip. You’ll also take the Precision Fuel & Hydration online Sweat Test for a bespoke hydration plan. Full details of the trip will be sent out and all runner's details will be gathered for the demo kit.
DAY 1 - (FRIDAY) ARRIVAL
Meet the team and mountain leaders at the accommodation. We would like you to arrive by 18:00 you will then be introduced to the team and given the weekend plan.
18:30: Pre-run Snack
19:00: First run of the weekend. Please pack Head-torches as we’ll be out for around 1-2hrs and it could get Dark!!
20:30: Evening meal at the hotel (provided)
Early night.
DAY 2 - SATURDAY
07:30: Breakfast at the hotel
09:00 (Sharp): Run time! This will be approx 5-6 hours with time for lunch on the mountain.
15:00: Strength and mobility:

19:00: Evening meal at the hotel (provided)
DAY 3 - SUNDAY
07:00: Breakfast at the hotel
08:00: Last run of the weekend approx 3 hours
11:30/12:00: Lunch and Q&A talk
12:30/13:00: Depart and transfer back to Ljubljana. This transfer is included in the entry price. (Please book a flight leaving after 15:45)
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
Booking your flights
There are numerous flight options leaving from different UK Airports to Ljubljana. Please follow the links to book. We would like you to arrive at the accommodation for 18:00 so please consider this when booking your flights and transfers. Schedules for EasyJet haven’t released their for September yet and their best flight times are from Stansted and return to Gatwick, so please consider this when booking. Lufthansa and Swiss are all in and out of the same airports, but all with a stop over so increases the flight time.
Please make sure you have your own travel insurance.

Transfer from Ljubiana Airport is included in the camp price - pick up and drop off time TBC
Accommodation
Hotel Jezero will be your home whist in Slovenia. Surrounded by mountains and overlooking Lake Bohinj, it’s the perfect base to explore! All rooms are booked on a twin basis, but if you would like a double please let us know. If you’re travelling alone, please be aware that you may be sharing with someone else.
