The TRIBE community is bold, fearless and push their limits. This October TRIBE and Maverick are joining forces for the fourth TRIBE x Maverick Run Free trail race, to run free and raise funds for TRIBE Freedom Foundation to fight modern slavery.
At the heart of The Surrey Hills, TRIBE x Maverick Run Free will bring together hundreds of runners to celebrate the force of nature, explore the great outdoors and champion the endless discovery it enables.
Between the three routes (22km, 12km and 6km) each showcasing this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is a challenge for trail runners of every level. Whether you're a seasoned trail running pro or it's your first time venturing off-road, with the right training and support, our potential is infinite.
The routes will lead you on a journey through a unique and beautiful world of heath and forest with names and charm comparable to tales of Tolkein! You’ll pass Ewhurst Windmill and through the Winterfold and Blackheath Forest. You’ll run along the local Fox Way before the long route sends you up and over the 250m climb of Pitch Hill where you will be rewarded with views over Hurtwood.
In true TRIBE x Maverick style, there will also be a big post-race celebration. Hang out with delicious pizzas, Trail Ales, TRIBE post-race recovery shakes, live music and a cosy chill-out zone to kick back and relax! Round up your friends and family to explore the stunning Surrey Hills and cheer you on as you cross the finish line.

Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
