Due to issues with the National Trust not allowing events at their venues for 2021, we have been working hard to bring you a new location close to Polesden Lacey, and what better venue than the stunning Loseley Park in the heart of Surrey. Loseley Park is perhaps better known as ‘Broadlands’ in Netflix’s The Crown, which is where we will now set up our amazing event village in front of the 16th century House.
With access to over 1,400 acres of estate and routes out onto the historic North Downs Way, we may have found an even better route for you here in Surrey. The Estate is teaming with wildlife from deer to rare birds, and in May you should be treated to views of the fantastic bluebell woods.
As the route meanders along the sandy North Downs Way and venturing through the stunning village of Puttenham, we immerse you in the quintessential English countryside and beautiful woodland. Runners will fly past the lakes at Puttenham Common and head back up the Fox Way toward the course rejoin at Puttenham, where you'll start to think about those finish line vibes, pizza, beer and good times with fellow trail runners.
There is a short section of the route for the runners on the long route (1.5km) around Puttenham and Puttenham Heath, which is an out and back due to it being difficult to cross the golf course. We feel it is safer for you runners to do this rather than gamble with golfers!
All three routes take you on an adventure through ancient woodlands, and the notorious North downs Way. In 2019 our Surrey event was one of the most popular events of the season due to its proximity to London, with direct trains from London taking less than 1 hour or the drive being 90 minutes from London City, straight to the race start.

Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP OUR TRAILS CLEAN AND PRESERVE THE NATURE AROUND US, WE'RE AIMING TO KEEP OUR OUTPOSTS CUP FREE. PLEASE BRING A CUP OR BOTTLE TO RE-FILL.Get a Maverick Speedcup
