The Maverick Exposure Lights Dark West Sussex 2023

The Maverick Exposure Lights Dark West Sussex 2023
Saturday 4 February 2023 | Amberley Museum
The South Downs remains one of our most popular areas for events amongst our Maverick Runners and the Maverick Adidas Exposure Lights West Sussex is no exception. With the event village set in the Amberley Museum, next door to the Amberley Railway station, runners can be collecting their race numbers in less than 120 minutes after departing from London. However, links to London certainly aren’t West Sussex’s only draw.
All three routes weave through the rolling hills, tranquil valleys and bustling hamlets of the quintessentially English South Downs, as well as spending time on the iconic South Downs Way.
Whether you are a seasoned Trail Runner or a complete novice, the West Sussex Dark series event is suitable yet challenging for all levels of experience. The trails vary from fire trails, forest paths and farm tracks, with hills and technical sections thrown in for good measure.
With the West Sussex Dark short route being our hilliest short distance nighttime trail running event (sitting at under 200m of ascent in just over 6km) and the middle and long routes being some of our toughest Dark routes, you can guarantee that signing up to run with us in West Sussex is sure to earn you some serious Kudos. Please note, there is no outpost on the Short route.

DIFFICULTY
Rolling hills, wide-open trails, fast if dry! Muddy as hell if wet, a real fun Dark event for all levels.
