As likely to be found on a trail with a camera as with a race number, James has run 5kms up to ultras and sky races, as well as shot the likes of UMTB. He's raced, marshalled, course marked, course stripped, taken snaps & helped you sign in at Maverick races. A local resident, he also builds the mountain bike trails, picks up litter and well, you guessed it, spends a lot of time on these trails. Be warned, he likes to chat!
Woburn in Bedfordshire has a lot going for such a small village; architecture, an abbey, deer park, safari park and more. It's this area that we will be exploring, taking in the few rolling hills that exist - don't worry, they're over in a matter of seconds rather than minutes and following a range of runnable trails, through woodlands, open park, fields and more.
Weekday runs are based around 10km routes, which on average at a group pace are completed in an hour. We're always happy to walk the hills, take a breather and admire the wildlife on offer.
Weekend long runs are just shy of 13 miles and take around 2.5-3.5 hours. There are more hills and a few hidden gems.
See the My Running Club app for more information on routes/times.
